Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why are tickets sold above face value?

Most tickets requested by our clients are for high demand events that have previously been sold out or the seats requested are tickets located closest to the stage or preferred viewing areas for athletic contests and horse racing. The greatest majority of our seats purchased are obtained at prices SUBSTANTIALLY ABOVE face value from the initial ticket holders.

  • How can Mr. Ticket obtain so many tickets to these high demand or sold-out events?

We have a variety of sources including season ticket holders, initial ticket holders, and other brokers.

  • Why does Mr. Ticket request that a signed receipt be obtained for the tickets purchased?

We want to insure that the tickets sent out are received by the person or company that ordered them. It is your responsibility to inspect the tickets upon receipt to insure that your order is correct & complete. If there are ANY DISCREPANCIES with your order, you must contact our office within 24 hours by telephone or email to advise us of the problem.

  • What is the difference between an in-stock order, future order, and a try & get order?

An in-stock order is at a set price from our inventory .These tickets are generally sent out on the same day that the order is received and payment is received in our office.

A future order is an order taken for seats at an agreed to price, in a specific location or an upgraded location, for delivery prior to the event taking place. Mr. Ticket guarantees to provide these tickets in the agreed to location or upgraded location or refund the customer's money plus an additional 50%. Generally future orders are for future events where Mr. Ticket has secured seats, but the tickets have not been available to the original ticket holders.

A try & get order is an order where the customer wants to purchase tickets in a specific location at a price lower than the present price charged by Mr.Ticket for tickets in that section. The customer agrees to purchase those tickets at their price anytime until 48 hours prior to the event should Mr. Ticket obtain them on the customer's behalf. Mr. Ticket makes no guarantees with regards to these tickets ever being obtained. These orders require a 10% deposit with order. The deposit is fully refundable in the event the order is not filled.

An upgraded location is defined as seats that are located in a better area of the arena, concert hall, or racetrack. Tickets in an upgraded section were selling at higher prices than the tickets in the original section selected on the day of the original order.
